Showoff Updates & Improvements - v4.3.7 – ASP Knowledge Base

New Features

An announcements page has been added to Showoff allowing us to promote new features and settings
We can now completely archive a site and remove all back office access to this, for both ASP and client staff members

It is now possible to have a custom template for the search & filters above an exhibitor / seminar / speaker or library list

We have launched a new way to login to Showoff, using your Azure or Google logins. These provide many security benefits including MFA and any client leavers are immediately disabled from logging in to Showoff. Speak to your AM for more information

A new Article Style has been added to composer which is similar to the Overlay list style for Octave
Updates have been made to the seminar featured image settings for composer sites to tidy these up a bit

Validation has been added to the exhibitor social media fields in the zone and back office. This will only work if the field type is set to be URL. All new sites going forward will have the field type set to URL as default now for social fields.
The accordion style has been added by default now to all ezone menus that contain sub menus
We have further extended the exhibitor list search and filters functionality to be able to filter exhibitors by a a library entry. The filter is now available as a per library filter as well

Appointment notes can now be made optional via a setting in the back office appointment settings
It is now possible for the recipient to reschedule an appointment request in Gateway instead of having to cancel and then search again.
The people page in the back office settings can now be ordered by the name and last login columns
Updates have been made to the group list page, adding icons for the active status, and a new filter to show active / inactive groups.

Updates have been made to the restricted content module. entire entries / pages that are hidden will now also show the place holder instead of taking you direct to the login page.
A new email notification field has been added to the automated imports to notify a user if the import fails. This can take a comma separated list of multiple email addresses and will fire an email if it fails in the overnight run

Speakers now appear on all sessions types on the seminar programme with the exception of breaks
Exhibitors who sponsor seminar sessions now appear at the bottom of the seminar entry as a sponsor, matching what shows in Gateway

The default Gateway emails have been updated to be more user friendly
The login page for Gateway has been updated to make sign up clearer
A view Gateway button has been added to the back office settings pages making it easier to get to the module if you are testing
Clashing appointments and sessions are now highlighted in your diary page. You are also warned when you add a session to your diary if it clashes with an appointment before adding this

The exhibitor overview page has been adapted to work without Gateway enabled now and shows just the stats that are relevant
Page / Panel reporting has been added to Gateway and reports on all page views and panel clicks

The max entries function for library entries in the exhibitor zone has been fixed to check for active entries only

Altering the restricted content settings in the back office for library entries now clears the caches automatically
persistent data table filters in the back office now only persist for the same types of data

For form submissions, sorting by submission date no longer brings up a data table error

You can now edit the seminar areas when editing a seminar location via the back office

Showoff password reset emails have been tweaked to not be intercepted by email clients that change the links, which can expire the token sent
