New Features
Gateway
- We now have a default speaker group that is created when the module is enabled and assigns all speakers to this group that exist. Any speaker added via the back office manually is also assigned, as are CSV imports.
- Gateway now has a default country field that is driven off the country list for forms. This shows on a persons profile and is also a filterable field for attendees
- We have integrated with a the registration provider Event Logic in the US. This allows us to take a realtime feed of data from their reg data to feed into Insights & Gateway.
Feedback
Composer
- A Parallax effect option has now been added to the Hero video panel on the Motif theme
- Button colours have now been amended on Octave. Button One will now use the main colour. Button Two uses the secondary/accent colour. Button Three uses the link colour.
- For Motif, there is now a composer option to make the hero title smaller or larger. Small is 64px, normal is 72px and large is 90px.
Exhibitors & EZone
- Changes have been made to the styling class in the exhibitor list setup. When this option is changed it no longer needs a cache clear.
- It is now possible to filter the exhibitor list by whether an exhibitor has a library entry or not. This can be a user filterable field or a preset filter from the back office, depending on the use case you need.
Gateway
- The Gateway dashboard page is now fully responsive and if you don't want a column on the right, the central body now expands to cover all the space.
- An image widget has been added to the dashboard to allow for MPU banner adds to be added to the page in the right hand column
- A blog & news library widget has been added to the dashboard page. These are the only other additional library types that Gateway will offer
Seminars & Speakers
- The default number of sessions setting in the seminar display options has been increased for all new seminar programmes added. this should now show all by default instead of just 10.
SEO
- New schema.org options have been added to the meta data for the site, allowing you to set the following properties for your event eventAttendanceMode, organizer & eventStatus
Improvements
Forms
- Feedback has now been added to the group allocation tab in forms making it clearer that the page has been submitted.
Gateway
- The default pref-locale field has been removed from Gateway
- Exhibitor contacts that are added via the ezone are now added to Gateway by default. Likewise, if they are deleted via the zone, they are removed from Gateway
- The tabs in MyEvent for messaging & appointments are now removed if the modules are turned off at a group level.
- Products that are associated to inactive exhibitors are now not shown in the Gateway product listings.
- The UI when filtering a seminar programme has been improved to give better feedback when filtering lists
- It is now possible to add a user filter option if the list has been pre-filtered in the back office
- Speakers have been added to Gateway as their own page & widget type, making speakers easier to add as a page / widget. Group visibility though still counts and the group you are logged in as MUST have visibility on the speaker group to see them.
- Social media profile fields have now been added to the drop down. These aren't default fields yet and will need to be manually added to each site that wishes to use them. Once we have an idea of their use, we will add some defaults
General
- We now verify that the URL used in an RSS widget is of type RSS and is valid before rendering this on a site
- The Search options in the general settings now work and are ordered as per the back office and are hidden depending on the settings you choose.
insights
- Owner info has now been added to the Insights Library reporting page.
Reporting
- The main stand holder is now an exportable field in the exhibitor reporting if Sharer nominations is enabled as a module
Bug Fixes
Forms
- Forms that are part of the ezone now redirect correctly on completion if they are set to do so.
Gateway
- The announcements image thumbnail in the back office no longer appears broken if this has been uploaded.
- Exhibitor messaging has been disabled if the module is now turned off for the group you are logged in as.
- The appointment notification button now shows the correct number of appointments awaiting approval for exhibitor contacts that are logged in.
- Exhibitor contacts where they have access to more than 1 exhibitor now appear correctly within the exhibitor record in Gateway and visitors can book appointments as expected
- Deleting a exhibitor contact from Gateway now removes the contact from the exhib module as well, and vice versa.
- The request appointment button has been fixed to show the full URL on sites that run from a sub folder
- Profile fields in the back office are now loading correctly as expected
- The agenda page is now appearing as a link in Gateway for all agenda types
- Categories are now ordered as per the category settings when shown in Gateway filters
- Exhibitor contacts added to Gateway are now made active / inactive depending on the status of the exhibitor when the module is turned on
- We have optimised the people editor in the Gateway module. This is now a bit more robust and all the filters work as expected and are clearly labelled. The bulk actions have also been amended and work as expected now. The login as functionality has also been amended to allow logins for all users, not just those with usernames
- A scrollbar now appears on the left menu in the Gateway app if the menu's don't fit on 1 page
- The sponsor widget filter now shows a filtered list of sponsors instead of just all sponsors
- The filters for the attendee widget and page now work as expected
- The ordering of the quicklinks widget is now as per the back office settings
- When you add a new group, the page refreshes and shows the group straight away
- Email reminders sent for upcoming appointments are only sent once
General
- The CMS search now works in Showoff and returns all modules that match
Menus
- The menu caches are automatically cleared now when the menu key is just "menu"
Reports
- The user report in Gateway now shows the correct number of appointments made and messages sent
- The Gateway users report is now exporting correctly and shows all users
