How to Create a New Page

Follow these steps to add a page to your website in Showoff:

Step 1: Open the Pages Section

From the left-hand menu, click Pages.

Step 2: Create a New Page

You have two options:

• Click Add Page at the top of the screen, or

• Click Edit Page, then select Create Child Page.

Both options will create a new page.

Step 3: Name Your Page

Enter a Page Title to get started.

Step 4: Add a Content Section

Click Add Content Section.

• Choose a layout with 1, 2, 3, or 4 columns.

• ⚠️ You can change the column layout later, but plan ahead to ensure it fits your content.

Step 5: Add Text and Media

• Use the Title areas to add headings and break up content.

• Click in the “Start typing or add a widget…” area to begin adding text or widgets.

• The editing toolbar provides familiar options such as bold, italic, underline, and alignment. Hover over any icon to see its function. The eraser icon clears formatting.

Copy and paste shortcuts:

• CTRL + C = Copy

• CTRL + V = Paste

• 🧹 When pasting, all formatting is automatically removed for clean, consistent content.

Step 6: Add Images

To insert an image:

1. Click the Image icon in the toolbar.

2. Select Browse Files.

3. Choose an image from your library or upload a new one.

Step 7: Save and Preview

• Click Save to keep your changes.

• Click View in the bottom-right corner to preview your page. (You must save first.)
