Page anchor links allow visitors to jump directly to specific sections of a page without scrolling. They are especially useful for content-heavy pages with long text, media, or multiple sections. Using anchors, you can even create a table of contents or quick navigation index. Follow these steps to set up page anchor links.
Step 1: Create the Link Text
Type the text you want to use as the link.
Highlight the text.
Click the link button in the toolbar (similar to creating a standard button or hyperlink).
Step 2: Select the Page
In the link options, choose the Page link type.
A Content dropdown will appear showing pages on your website.
Select the current page (or another page if you want the anchor to jump across pages).
Step 3: Select the Anchor Section
After selecting the page, a Page Anchor dropdown will appear.
Choose the specific section you want the link to jump to.
Once set, clicking the link will smoothly scroll the visitor to the selected section, improving navigation and user experience on your page.
⚠️ Why isn’t my section showing under Page Anchor?
If your section is not appearing in the Page Anchor dropdown, it’s usually because the article title is empty.
To make a section available as an anchor, you must enter text into the Article Title field. This text is what the system uses to generate the anchor link.
Once a title has been added, the section will appear in the dropdown and can be linked as expected.
