How to Create a Featured Article

You can create a featured article in a 1, 2, 3, or 4-column layout. The featured article will display a colour from your site’s colour palette.

Step 1: Set Up Your Page

• Create a new page or edit an existing one.

• Add your column layout by clicking “Create New Section.”

  • Tip: Using more than 1 column usually works best.

Step 2: Add Title and Text

• Title: Text that appears below the image in bold and larger font.

• Text: Text that appears below the title in the normal font size and colour.

Step 3: Open Article Settings

• Click the cog icon within the article or column.

Step 4: Configure Your Featured Article

Select the following options:

• Article Style: Choose “Featured.”

• Image: Click BROWSE… to select an image from the media manager. This image will appear above the title.

• Link: Choose the page or content you want the article to link to.

  • Tip: Match any link in the content below the image. Keep it focused with one link per column.

• Target: Choose whether the link opens in the same window (internal links) or a new window (external links).

Step 5: Save and Repeat

• Save all changes.

• Repeat for each column.

• Tip: Use a different image for each column for the best visual effect.
