If you’ve added a URL link in a panel or page, but it keeps redirecting back to the homepage or another page, the issue is usually caused by a redirect configured for that URL.
⚙️ How to Fix It
-
Go to Settings > SEO Settings > Redirects in the back office.
-
Locate the redirect that is affecting your URL.
-
Delete the redirect that is causing the page to go to the wrong location.
Once removed, the link should function as intended and direct users to the correct page.
🔹 Other Potential Causes
-
The redirect may not work if the page you’re attempting to redirect is still active. Standard redirects only work on inactive pages, so you may need to make the page inactive.
-
In certain cases, a page must remain active, such as when redirecting core module pages (e.g., the Exhibitor List). In these scenarios, please contact support for assistance.
-
An incorrectly configured redirect.config file can also prevent redirects from working as expected. If using a bulk redirect via this file, double-check that the file is properly formatted and uploaded to the correct directory.
