Adding an Instagram Feed to Your Website

You can display your Instagram feed directly on your website by using the Instagram Feed widget in Showoff CMS.
Before you begin, make sure you have access to the Instagram account you’d like to connect, as you’ll need to authorise it during setup.

Step 1: Add the Instagram Feed Widget

1. Go to the page or panel where you’d like your Instagram feed to appear.

2. Click inside the text area to open the word processing toolbar.

3. Click the wand icon ✨ to open the widget options menu.

4. From the list, select ‘Instagram Feed’.

This will insert an Instagram feed widget into your page or panel.

Step 2: Connect Your Instagram Account

1. In the widget settings, find the ‘Username’ field.

2. Click the ‘Integrate with Instagram’ button.

3. A new window will open — log in to your Instagram account and authorise Showoff to access it.

4. Once authorised, close the pop-up window.

5. Choose how many images you’d like to display in your feed.

6. Click ‘Insert Widget’ to add it to your page.

Step 3: Save Your Changes

After inserting the widget:

1. Click ‘Save’ in the bottom-right corner of the page or panel.

2. Once saved, your Instagram feed will appear on your live website.

Important Notes

• ⏱ Feed updates every 15 minutes
  The Instagram feed is cached in Showoff for 15 minutes. This helps manage Instagram’s rate limits.
  If you add new posts to Instagram, it may take up to 15 minutes before they appear on your website.

• 🔒 Authorisation required
  You must authorise your Instagram account before the feed can display. If you change your Instagram password or account settings, you may need to reauthorise the connection.

✅ That’s it! Your Instagram feed is now connected and live on your site — automatically showing your latest posts.
