Exporting Reports in Showoff

When exporting data, you can choose between CSV or XLS formats. Each format behaves slightly differently, so it’s important to pick the right one for your needs.

📊 Export Options

1. Export As CSV

• Downloads a traditional CSV with raw data in UTF-8 format.

• ⚠️ If opened in Excel, some data may not display correctly (e.g., converted to formulas or character codes).

2. Export As XLS

• Downloads a native Excel file.

• ✅ Opens perfectly in Excel.

• ⚠️ Cannot be re-imported into Showoff (imports must be CSV).

3. Export As Excel CSV

• Downloads raw CSV data but includes special code to display most special characters correctly in Excel.

• ⚠️ Some numeric values may still display as formulas.

📝 How to Export

1. Go to Reports > Scheduled Reports.

2. Select your entity (e.g., Exhibitor) and click View Reports.

3. Choose a Saved Filter or Add New.

4. Under the More drop-down, select the desired Export As… option.
