Campaign trackers let you monitor how users engage with specific links on your website or in external campaigns. They help you track clicks, page visits, and off-site usage, providing valuable insights into campaign performance.
➕ How to Add a Campaign Tracker
Step 1: Open the Campaign Tracker Module
Go to Modules > Campaign Tracker in your CMS.
Click Add Campaign Tracker to create a new entry.
Step 2: Enter Campaign Details

Title
Enter a clear, descriptive name for your campaign (e.g., SpringTickets2025).
This title appears in your tracker list, so make it easy to identify. -
Page URL
Specify the part of the URL that follows the forward slash (/).
Use short, memorable terms—letters and numbers only, no spaces (e.g., booktickets, register2025). -
Link Check
Use this tool to see how often the link appears on your site and whether external sites (via Google) are linking to it. -
Target
Choose where the tracker directs users:-
A page on your website

An external URL

A downloadable file

Notes
Add any useful context—such as which publication, ad, or event references this link, or campaign dates. -
Trace-To-Source (TTS) (optional)
Add a custom TTS code for external tracking, such as third-party forms or merge fields.
Step 3: Save Your Campaign
Click Save to create the campaign tracker.
Step 4: Test the Link
Click Test at the top of the page to confirm the link works correctly and directs users to the intended destination.
🗂️ Bulk Import Campaign Trackers via CSV
You can also add multiple campaign trackers at once using a CSV import. Follow these steps:

Prepare Your CSV File
Download the CSV template and enter your data carefully. Avoid adding any stray data outside the columns. Required columns include:-
Campaign title – your internal reference

Campaign URL – the URL slug (DO NOT include "/")

Target URL – the full URL, including
http://orhttps:// -
Trace-to-source code – optional
Save your file once completed.

Import into CMS
Go to Modules > Campaign Tracker and click the IMPORT button (top right). -
Upload Your CSV
Under the CSV File tab, click Browse…, select your file, and click SUBMIT. -
Map and Submit
Choose your import method (Add new / Update existing / Add + Update) and map the CSV columns to the relevant fields using the dropdown menus. -
Preview and Confirm
Check the import preview. If everything looks correct, click SUBMIT to import your campaign trackers.
