Though we include all the common fields for exhibitors—such as contact information, logos, online profiles, and social media channels—you may want to customise these to get the most out of your E-Zone.
🔹 Adding a New Custom Field
Log in to the CMS
Go to Modules > Exhibitors.Open Field Setup
Navigate to More > Field Setup.You’ll see two tabs: one for general fields (logo, online profile, etc.) and one for social media platforms.
Create Custom Question
Click Create Custom Question.
Fill out the following options:
Field Group – Choose which group your field belongs to (General or Social Media by default).
Field Type – Select the type of data (e.g., Text, Checkbox, etc.).
Label – The title of your field.
Default Value – Optional pre-set value.
Max Length – Limit the number of characters.
Help Text – Adds guidance below the field in the CMS and E-Zone.
Save Field
Your new field is now created!Re-order Fields
Drag and drop fields to set the display order.
🔹 Creating a New Field Group
Log in to the CMS
Go to Modules > Exhibitors > More > Field Setup.Create Field Group
Click Create Field Group and give it a title.
Add Fields to Group
Follow the steps above to create fields inside your new group.
🔹 Making Custom Fields Available in the Exhibitor Zone
Go to Exhibitor Zone Settings
Navigate to Settings > Exhibitor Zone Settings.Select Event Status
Choose the status you want the custom field applied to.
Repeat for each status if needed.
Set Permissions
Select the Permissions tab.
Find your new field under its group and toggle it on.
Click the downward arrow to access zone options:
Make the field a required task.
Display it in the task list.
Add a task list description.
Set a deadline for completion.
Add a message if the deadline passes.
Set Min & Max characters (if applicable).
Require show team approval before it goes live.
Save Changes
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
This setup ensures your exhibitors see exactly the fields you want them to complete, while giving you full control over display, deadlines, and approval processes.
