Improvements

Integrations

• Blueprint integration has been amended to include the ability to import multiple contacts into the ezone

General

• We have implemented a number of additional headers in our https responses, includingthe Strict-Transport-Security header for all sites that have https.  This is to force browsers to use https only for sites that have SSL enabled
• We have implemented the same site attribute to all Showoff issued cookies, set to strict which only allows Showoff cookies to be accessed first party.

Hosting Modernisation

• We have today deployed a number of changes to Showoff to continue our hosting modernisation programme.  The next phase to be completed by the 23rd June is to upgrade and migrate the WAF we use.  Benefits of this upgrade include
  • An important step towards improved speed test results, by allowing us to offset file hosting to localised CDN and remove cookie requirements
  • Gives ASP more control over hosting costs, and helps us to not pass on full costs to clients
  • Simplified secure certificates renewals
  • WAF specialised for AWS environment, improving and futureproofing security overall 
  • Better manageability of our WAF and CDN rules
