🖼️ Panels in ShowOff
Panels contain content that can appear on more than one page, such as:
- Page background images
- Sponsors logos
- CTA buttons
- Banners
- Footers
- Social media icons
💡 Tips
- If content appears on more than one page, it is likely in a panel.
- Use restrictions to control which pages a panel appears on.
- Hero images (large images at the top of pages) can be updated in panels, with their visibility controlled via restrictions.
⚙️ Add or Edit Panels
- In the CMS, select Panels from the left-hand menu to open the panel editor. The editor is broken down into available panel positions.
- Click Add Panel at the top of the page.
- Give the panel a title.
- Select the panel location (e.g., Footer).
- Click into the panel content box. A toolbar similar to the page editor will appear.
- By default, panels are active. Leave this checked and click Save.
- Verify your panel appears by clicking the View Website icon in the left-hand navigation and scrolling to the appropriate section.
🎨 Changing Panel Styles
- Click the Display Options button on the right of the panel you want to modify.
- Use the drop-down Current Panel Layout to see available style options for that panel position.
- Select the desired style and click Save.
- Your new style will now be applied across the site.
