If you need to update multiple exhibitor names, it’s much more efficient to do this in bulk rather than editing each exhibitor individually. This can be done by exporting your current exhibitor data, updating it in a CSV file, and then re-importing it.
Step 1: Export your exhibitor data
- Navigate to Modules
- Select Exhibitors
- Click More (top right)
- Select Export
Before exporting:
- Click Edit Layout (top left)
- Ensure the following fields are selected:
- Account Number
- Company
- Click Apply Layout
Then:
- Go to More
- Select Export as CSV
This will download a CSV file containing your exhibitor data.
Step 2: Update the company names in the CSV
- Open the CSV file in Excel or Google Sheets
- Locate the Company column
- Update the exhibitor names as required
⚠️ Important:
- Do not change the Account Number
- The account number is used to match and update the correct exhibitor records
- Save the file once your updates are complete
Step 3: Import the updated CSV
- Return to Modules > Exhibitors
- Click More
- Select Import
When importing:
- Set Import Method to Update Existing
- Upload your updated CSV file
Step 4: Map your fields correctly
During the import process:
Match records using Account Number
- Map the following fields:
- Account Number → Account Number
- Company → Company
This ensures the system updates the correct exhibitor records with your new company names.
Final step
Complete the import and allow the system to process your updates.
