This guide explains how to control which fields, tools, and features exhibitors can see and access within Exhibitor Zone 2.
Note: This article refers specifically to E-Zone 2 and not the classic Exhibitor Zone.
Within E-Zone 2, the visibility of profile fields and functionality is controlled by exhibitor group permissions. By editing these permissions, organisers can customise what exhibitors see when they log in and configure how certain fields behave.
You can also control additional settings such as:
Whether a field is mandatory
Whether organiser approval is required before the content appears on the website
Minimum and maximum character limits
Minimum and maximum selections for multi-select fields (such as categories)
This allows you to fully customise the exhibitor experience.
Editing exhibitor group permissions
Navigate to Modules > Zone in the CMS.
Select the Groups tab.
You will see all exhibitor groups associated with the event’s Exhibitor Zone.
Select the group you want to edit from the list.
The Edit Group window will open.
Within this window you will see the different features and areas exhibitors can access, including:
Online profile fields (logos, company bio, social media links, etc.)
Libraries (press releases, products, videos)
Assigned categories
Forms applied to the Exhibitor Zone
For each option you can toggle the feature on or off. When enabled, the field or functionality will be visible to exhibitors in that group once they are logged in.
You can also configure additional settings such as:
Whether the field is mandatory
Whether it requires organiser approval
Character limits for text fields
Minimum or maximum selections for fields such as categories
Once you have made your changes, ensure you save the settings.
Applying changes to multiple exhibitor groups
These settings apply per exhibitor group. If your event has multiple exhibitor groups and you want them to have the same permissions, you will need to repeat these steps for each group.
Adding new profile fields
If the field you want exhibitors to complete does not already exist, you will need to create it first.
