Troubleshooting Guide
If your exhibitor list is not displaying on the frontend, this is usually due to missing data, incorrect module settings, or display limits. Follow the steps below in order to identify and resolve the issue.
1. Check Exhibitors Exist in the Back Office
First, confirm that exhibitors actually exist and are fully set up.
Go to Modules → Exhibitor
Open your exhibitor entries and check the following fields are populated:
Exhibitor name
Account number
Event status
Status (e.g. Live / Active)
Logo
Job title
Cover image
Online profile
Website URL
Email address
Any other required fields for your event
If exhibitors are missing key fields or are not set to the correct status, they may not appear on the exhibitor list.
2. Confirm the Exhibitor Module is Active
Go to Modules > Exhibitors
At the bottom of the CMS you'll find an active marker - ensure this is set to active. If set to inactive, this will automatically hide all exhibitors on the front end of the website.
3. Check Page Layout & List Template
Within Exhibitor Options:
Ensure a Page Layout is selected
Choose a List Template
Available options include:Carousel
Grid
List
List Detail
If no template is selected, the exhibitor list will not render.
4. Verify Display Settings
Still within Exhibitor Options, go to the Display section:
Select a Search Form Template
Set Order By and (if required) Secondary Order By
Enable any User Filterable Fields you want available
Make sure a Search Method is selected
Missing or incomplete display settings can prevent results from showing.
5. Check “Entries Per Page” (Common Issue)
This is the most common reason exhibitor lists do not show.
Go to General Exhibitor Options
Locate Entries Per Page
Use the correct value:
To show a specific number (e.g. 25 exhibitors):

If this value is set incorrectly, the exhibitor list may appear empty.
6. Review Layout Settings

Check Visible Fields
Ensure the fields you want displayed are selected
List Settings
Choose a layout:
Default
Sidebar
Set the number of rows for:

7. Save Widgets & Clear Cache
