Use these steps when an exhibitor requires a new contact record with login access.
Steps
Open the Back Office.
Go to Modules.
Select Exhibitors.
Find and open the relevant exhibitor record.
Select Edit Exhibitor.
Scroll down to the Exhibitor Contacts section.
Select Add Contact.
Complete all available fields for the contact, including the mandatory login fields:
First Name
Last Name
Email Address
Username
Optionally, set a password manually or allow the exhibitor to create their own password via the welcome email.
Select Save.
Select Save again to save the exhibitor record.
The exhibitor contact will now be created with the login details provided.
π Resetting or Changing an Exhibitor Contactβs Password
Use these steps when an existing exhibitor contact needs to reset or change their password.
Steps
Open the Back Office.
Go to Modules.
Select Exhibitors.
Find and open the relevant exhibitor record.
Select Edit Exhibitor.
Scroll down to the Exhibitor Contacts section.
Locate the correct exhibitor contact.
Use the dropdown menu next to the contact and select Send Password Reset Link.
A password reset email will be sent to the exhibitor contact, allowing them to set a new password themselves.
π Important Notes
π Passwords are not visible in the CMS
For security reasons, exhibitor contact passwords cannot be viewed within the CMS. If an exhibitor has set their own password or overwritten a manually created password, this information will not be visible or retrievable.π Password changes for existing contacts
Passwords can be manually changed for existing contacts but we'd recommend sending the contact a reset password token instead to ensure they can securely set this themselves.
