In some cases, you may want to exclude certain records from automated feeds or manual imports into the CMS.
This is useful when you need to add a record manually that isn’t included in your source data (e.g., from an external platform). Even if your import is set to “Deactivate all entries not in the file”, excluded records will remain active.
How to Exclude a Record
Go to the Back Office and navigate to Modules → Exhibitors.
Open the exhibitor record you want to edit.
Click Entry Options.
Locate the dropdown “Exclude from imports”.
Set this option to Yes to exclude the record from future feeds or imports.
By default, this is set to No, which means the record will be included in imports.
Using this setting ensures that specific records ignore incoming feeds or imports, allowing you to manage exceptions without disrupting your automated processes.
