The Contact Exhibitor button on exhibitor profiles allows website visitors to send messages directly to exhibitors via the E-Zone using the Rapport tool in the CMS.
✉️ How It Works
Visitors click the Contact Exhibitor button on an exhibitor profile to send a message.
Once a message is sent, the exhibitor’s main contact automatically receives an email notification.
The recipient(s) of these notifications can be customized per exhibitor using the Rapport Email Value(s) field in the CMS. This allows multiple contacts to receive notifications.
🖥️ Managing Messages in the Exhibitor Zone
Within the E-Zone, exhibitors will see a notification when a new message has been received via Rapport.
From here, exhibitors can view the message and decide whether to respond.
❌ Removing the Contact Exhibitor Button
If you would like to remove the Contact Exhibitor button from exhibitor profiles:
Navigate to Modules > Exhibitors.
Click Exhibitor Options.
Select the Layout Settings tab.
Go to Entry Settings.
Under Visible Fields, uncheck Rapport.
Save your changes.
Once completed, the Contact Exhibitor button will no longer be visible on exhibitor profiles.
⚠️ Important Notes
Confirmation that a message has been received or responded to must be done outside of the CMS or exhibitor zone.
Website visitors will never see the exhibitor’s contact details. Contact information only becomes visible if the exhibitor chooses to respond.
The fields available in the Contact Exhibitor form are not currently editable, but the wording on the existing fields/questions can be adjusted.
Using Rapport ensures that exhibitors can manage incoming inquiries securely while protecting their contact information.
