Gateway
- The announcement title is no longer required and if it isn't defined then you can still click to edit the announcement
- Email merge fields in the email suite have been made consistent for all email types
- Category filters in pages now automatically hide category items that have nothing associated to them
- Order by options have been added to the main page types in Gateway
Pages
- Copying a section in the back office with an icatcher type widget in an article now strips this widget from the duplicated section.
Exhibitors & EZone
- A new field has been added to the ezone profile fields that allows an exhibitor to override the rapport notification email address and specify one instead of it sending to all contacts. If left blank, it defaults to send emails to all the contacts as before.
Media Manager
- There is now an option in media manager to check if an image is being used. Clicking into the properties of the image there is now a button to check, and the check will also be done before you delete an image and ask if you are sure you want to delete as this image is being used.
Improvements
API
- API webhook subscriptions have been optimised to be processed quicker with less delay between update and notifications
Exhibitors & EZone
- The View Profile on website menu link can now be opened in a new browser window
Gateway
- Message formatting has now been preserved when you view message history in Gateway
- The announcements popup can now uses images from media manager instead of direct upload
Reporting
- The seminar export report query has been optimised for a large number of sessions
Seminars & Speakers
- Seminar date tabs are now driven off the site local and will translate depending on the local of the site
- When the back office session list is sorted by date, the secondary sort order is now time
SEO
- Under site settings in the CMS a new SEO menu item has been added to group all the site level SEO settings together in one place to make SEO updates easier
- Page URL's now suggest an optimum keyword rich URL and we now strip out certain words like and, or etc from new page URL's by default
- There is now an SEO overview from the page list allowing you to see quickly if a page has customised SEO options or not. There is also a quick link here to edit SEO options for a particular page
- it is now possible to edit a robots.txt file directly from the back office in the CMS. A button has been added alongside the redirect editor, in the SEO page and we have added default content to this file for all sites going forward if there isn't a custom file added
- It is now possible to force library entries to be noindex at the parent library level.
- Global Meta page title and description fields have been removed from Showoff. It is best practice to keep these unique per page so site level options are no longer needed
- Character counters have been added to the page URL field, the Meta title and Meta descriptions to highlight best practice
- Nofollow has been removed as an option from the SEO settings in Showoff
- You can now override a pages canonical tag on a per page basis if you have this setup to show in Showoff
- European characters are now replaced in the URL automatically for new pages created inline with SEO best practice
- Pages and entries marked as noindex are automatically excluded from the XML sitemaps instead of this being a separate option
Widgets
- Some Gateway sort options have been added to widgets in a page to sort by recommended, most favourited or viewed and these work if you are logged into Gateway and can be embedded on any widget in a page
Bug Fixes
Forms
- Captcha now works correctly if you have more than 1 form widget on a page
Gateway
- non Ascii Characters in appointment notes and messages are now escaped correctly
- If a session in a seminar programme falls outside of the show dates then the add to diary button is no longer shown on the session entry
General
- Issues with the latest version of Safari and OSX relating to widgets have been fixed in the back office
Pages
- When parent pages are deleted, child page URL's are now correctly updated
Seminars & Speakers
- Custom association fields are now correctly deleted when the session is deleted from the back office
- Deleiting and de-activating seminar sessions correctly clears the list caches
