Display Seminar Times in Visitor’s Local Time

If your seminar programme has a global audience, you can use Showoff to display session times in the visitor’s local time zone. This is particularly useful for virtual events to avoid confusion.

⚙️ Enable Local Time Display in Seminar Module

1. Using the left-hand menu, hover over Modules and select Seminars.

2. Click into the seminar programme you want to configure.

3. Bottom-right, select the blue “Seminar Options” button.

4. In the popup, click the Layout Settings tab and then List Settings beneath it.

5. Scroll to the bottom and toggle “Show the session time also in the users local time?” to Yes.

⏱ Apply Local Time to Individual Sessions

1. Switch to the Entry Settings tab.

2. Repeat the toggle to enable local time conversion when a session is opened.

3. Click Submit, then Save the seminar module to finalize your changes.

🖥 Enable Local Time in Seminar Widgets

If you are using a page to host your seminar:

1. Edit the page in the back office.

2. Click the SeminarList widget.

3. Open the Advanced Settings tab.

4. Enable the option to show session times in the visitor’s local time.

⚠️ Notes

• Changing the date/time on your own device will not affect the local time display. Conversion is handled automatically based on internet time zones.
