A double opt-in is an additional step in an email subscription service or form. After a user submits their email address in a form, they will receive an email asking them to confirm their email address via a verification link.
Only after the confirmation link is clicked is the form submission counted as verified within reports and exports.

-
Creates a more engaged subscription list, improving conversion rates.

Helps deter fake or mistyped email addresses.
-
Keeps your subscription list clean and up to date.
-
Generates fewer spam/junk complaints and unsubscribes.
