Something that is useful when running competitions, organising awards or collecting calls for papers, is the ability to upload files to forms.
You can add a question that will let visitors upload an image or PDF.
- Go to Modules > Forms and choose a form to edit, or add a new one
- Select Add Question
- Select Question Type = Image Only or Image or File
- Save
What file types can be uploaded?
When uploading files to a form, the allowed file types are:
- txt
- png
- gif
- jpg
- jpeg
- eps
- rtf
- csv
- xml
What's the maximum file size that can be uploaded?
The maximum file size is 20Mb.
How many files can be uploaded per question?
1 file can be uploaded per question.
Uploaded files can then be accessed here:
- Go to Modules > Forms
- Select the Files tab
- Use the checkboxes to select the submissions you want to download
- Click the Download Files button...
- If downloading single files the file will open in a new tab to preview and then download.
- If downloading multiple files, it will create a zip.
