Streams or topics will guide your visitors to the correct sessions based on their interests. Streams are added once and then can be used across multiple seminars and sessions. A session could be tagged with more than one stream.
Before you add individual sessions to your seminar programme you will need to add any streams you wish to use in Modules > Seminars and then click on the "Streams" tab.
- Simply click ADD STREAM to add a new item and type in the name.
- Upload a stream icon, to easily identify which sessions belong to which streams. Upload this icon actual size, an example size is 30 x 30 pixels.
- If you don't have icons then select a colour instead to associate with each stream here. Any icons added will over-write the colour. If you use a colour then a dot will appear on each tagged session along with a key at the top
- Add a description of the stream or a sponsorship logo
- Add a "tool-tip" (optional). this will be some short text to be displayed when hovering a mouse cursor over a stream(desktop only)
- SAVE your changes.
Once your streams have been added you then have options to:
- See how many times this has been used (e.g. how many individual sessions have been tagged to this stream)
- Use the check boxes to delete selected streams
- Click on an item or use the Edit button or the drop-down next to it to edit or delete an existing stream
- Click on the STREAM ORDERING button to drag and drop and control the order of the streams, this will control the key order and also the order if you are grouping sessions by stream.
