Libraries can be transferred from one site to another using the built‑in export and import tools. Follow the steps below to complete the process.
Exporting a Library
-
Open the source site
Access the back office of the site containing the library you want to copy. -
Navigate to the library
Go to the specific library you wish to export. -
Open the export tool
Hover over More in the top-right corner and select Export.
This will open the Export page.
Using the Export Tool
The export tool provides two main configuration options: Edit Layout and Edit Filters.
Edit Layout
This option allows you to choose which data fields are included in the export.
You will see a checklist of all available data points. Select the fields you want to include in the exported file.
Edit Filters
Filters allow you to exclude specific entries from the export.
You can create multiple filter rules based on available data fields to refine which entries are exported.
Exporting the CSV File
Once your layout and filters are set:
- Hover over More again.
- Click Export to CSV.
A CSV file will be downloaded—by default, it will be saved in your Downloads folder.

-
Map the data fields
You will be taken to a mapping page where you must match the columns in the CSV to the fields in the new library.- Set the Import Method to Add New.
- Ensure each column is mapped to the correct library field.
- Click Submit when finished.
-
Confirm field value mappings
A second mapping page may appear to set field values.
Adjust these as needed and click Submit. -
Review the data preview
The system will show a preview of the entries to be imported.
Carefully review all data, as imports cannot be undone. -
When everything looks correct, proceed with the final submission.
