Brochures provide a simple and effective way for exhibitors to share downloadable content with attendees, while allowing you to showcase collections of important documents on your website. Using ASP’s Brochure Library, you can create a central hub for PDFs and DOCX files, control exhibitor upload permissions, and display the brochures either on individual exhibitor profiles or in dedicated library widgets.
This guide walks you through setting up a brochure library, enabling exhibitor uploads, and customizing how brochures appear on your site.
📂 Step 1: Create a Brochure Library
-
Navigate to Libraries > Add New Library in the back office.
-
Enter a name for your library (e.g., “Exhibitor Brochures”).
-
Select Type: Brochure.
-
Click Create to finalize your library.
🔑 Step 2: Enable Exhibitor Uploads
-
Go to Settings > Exhibitor Zone Settings.
-
Choose the relevant exhibitor status and select Permissions.
-
Scroll to Libraries and tick the box for the library you just created.
-
You can also limit the number of uploads per exhibitor if needed.
-
-
Create a menu item for the library:
-
Go to Menus > E-Zone > Add New Item.
-
Enter a title, set Type: Zone, and select your brochure library.
-
If the library is for specific statuses, go to Menus > E-Zone > Status, and repeat the process for the correct status.
-
📄 Step 3: Upload Brochures
-
Exhibitors can upload files from within their E-Zone login.
-
Supported formats: .PDF and .DOCX.
-
You can also upload brochures yourself to populate the library.
Tip: Each brochure can include:
-
Featured Image – Displayed on the library or profile preview.
-
Abstract – A short summary of the brochure content.
-
Description – More detailed information to accompany the file.
🖥️ Step 4: Display Brochures on Your Site
-
Brochures can appear:
-
On individual exhibitor profiles.
-
In a Library Widget to create a dedicated collection page or section.
-
-
Adjust display order using Library Options to highlight featured brochures or set a custom sequence.
⚙️ Step 5: Customize Library Options
-
Featured Images: Toggle on/off to show preview images.
-
Display Order: Control the sequence of brochures within the library.
-
Access Control: Limit visibility for certain exhibitor statuses or user groups.
Summary:
Brochure libraries are a powerful way to centralize exhibitor content and enhance your website’s engagement. By setting up the library, enabling uploads, and using library widgets, you can create a professional, user-friendly experience for both exhibitors and attendees.
