How to Assign a Category Set to Different Content

In Showoff, category sets can be applied to multiple content types across your site, such as Exhibitors, Seminars, Speakers, Library items, and Forms. This allows you to reuse the same categories for tagging and filtering content consistently.

⚙️ Steps to Assign an Existing Category Set

1. Navigate to Settings > Categories

2. Search for the category set you want to assign

3. Click Edit on the category set

4. Select Assigned To

5. Select the site you want to assign the category set to

6. Choose the content types or pages where the category set should be available

7. Scroll down and click Save

🏷️ Applying the Category to Content

Once the category set is assigned, navigate to the relevant content module where you want to tag the category.

Category tagging is available in the Advanced settings of each content entry.

Example (Exhibitors):
Go to Exhibitors > Entry Options > Advanced > Categories, then select the required category.
