Streams help visitors quickly identify and differentiate seminar content within your programme.
Depending on your event setup, streams may also be referred to as tracks or topics, but the same principles and settings apply.
Each stream can be customised using either a colour or an icon, allowing sessions within the same stream, track, or topic to be visually grouped.
Updating a stream colour
To update the colour associated with a stream:
Navigate to Modules
Select Seminars
Open the Streams tab
Click on the stream, track, or topic you want to edit
In the stream settings, locate Associate a Colour
Choose a colour and save
The selected colour will be applied to all seminars using that stream and will appear across the seminar programme to visually group related sessions.
Using an icon instead of a colour
Instead of a colour, you can choose to display an icon for a stream. This option is often used when streams, tracks, or topics need to be more visually distinctive.
Icon requirements:
Image size must be 100 × 100 pixels
Use a clear and simple design for best visibility
Ensure the icon aligns with your event branding
Once uploaded, the icon will be used in place of the colour across the seminar programme.
Best practice tips
Streams, tracks, and topics should follow the same styling approach for consistency
Keep colours or icons aligned with your overall event branding
Avoid using multiple similar colours, as this can make streams harder to distinguish
If using icons, ensure they remain clear at small sizes
Use either colours or icons consistently across all streams for a cleaner layout
