As part of your event setup, you may want to link exhibitors to specific programme sessions, and vice versa. This is useful when an exhibitor is speaking at, sponsoring, or otherwise associated with a particular session.
Once linked, this relationship can be displayed on the front end of your website:
The session can appear on the exhibitor’s profile

To link exhibitors and sessions, you’ll need to create a Custom Association field in the CMS.
How to link exhibitors and sessions
Step 1: Create a custom association field
Go to Modules > Seminars.
Select the programme you wish to edit.
Navigate to More > Custom Fields.
Select Create Custom Field.
Set the Field type to Custom Association.
Enter a label/title for the field (this will appear on both the session and exhibitor entries).
Toggle the Mandatory option on or off, depending on your requirements.
Save the custom field.
Step 2: Link an exhibitor to a session
Go to Modules > Seminars.
Select the programme you’ve just edited.
Choose the specific session you want to link to an exhibitor.
In the session details, locate the custom field you created.
Use the dropdown to select the exhibitor(s) you want to associate with the session.
Note:
The dropdown will display all exhibitors in the back office, including inactive ones.
If an inactive exhibitor is selected, it will not display on the front end of the website.
Step 3: Save and publish
Click Save on the session.
The link will now be live on the website, displaying the session on the exhibitor profile and the exhibitor on the session page (where supported by your template).
Summary
By using a Custom Association field, you can easily link programme sessions and exhibitors in the CMS. This helps showcase speaker involvement, sponsorships, and session participation across both session and exhibitor pages, improving clarity and engagement for website visitors.
