How to Enable a Warning for Partially Completed Forms

You can enable a warning that alerts users if they try to leave a form before completing it. This helps reduce accidental drop-offs and incomplete submissions.

Steps

1. Log in to the Back Office.

2. Hover over Modules and select Forms.

3. Locate the form you want to update and click Edit.

4. In the form editor, open the Settings tab.

5. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

6. Enable the checkbox labelled Warn when leaving a partially completed form.

7. Click Save Form.

Result

Once enabled, users will see a warning message if they attempt to leave the form before submitting it.

This feature is especially useful for longer forms where accidental navigation away from the page could result in lost data.
