Task Settings Explained
Once you have selected your task type, additional settings will appear (as shown in the image below):
1. Is This Task Completion Compulsory?
Enabling this option makes the task mandatory.
Exhibitors will be unable to complete their profile or proceed in the E-zone until the task is completed.
Use this setting for essential information only. This isn't recommended for social media details.
2. Task Publish Date
Could you set the date when the task becomes visible and available to exhibitors?
This is useful for phasing tasks or releasing them in line with your event timeline.
3. Task Expire Date
Set a date after which the task will no longer be available.
Ideal for deadlines or time-sensitive submissions.
4. Exhibitor Groups
Select which exhibitor groups or statuses the task applies to.
This allows you to tailor tasks to different exhibitor types and avoid unnecessary actions for others.
Best Practice Tips
Use clear, action-driven task titles.
Avoid making too many tasks compulsory at once.
Stagger publish dates to reduce exhibitor overload.
Regularly review and remove expired or outdated tasks.
Test the exhibitor experience by previewing tasks from different group perspectives.
Troubleshooting
Task not visible to exhibitors? Check the publish date and exhibitor group settings.
Exhibitors unable to proceed? Confirm whether the task is marked as compulsory.
Task no longer accessible? Review the expiry date.
Wrong exhibitors seeing the task? Adjust the exhibitor group selection.
Reordering the Task List
You can control the order in which tasks appear to exhibitors.
To reorder the task list:
Select the Re-order task list CTA located in the top-right corner of the Task List screen.
Drag and drop tasks into your preferred order.
Save your changes once complete.
Reordering tasks is useful for:
Prioritising critical or mandatory actions
Creating a logical flow for exhibitors to follow
Improving task completion rates by surfacing important tasks first
Using the Task List effectively in E-zone 2 helps streamline exhibitor onboarding, improve data accuracy, and ensure a smoother experience for both organisers and exhibitors.
