This article explains how to change the colour settings for a seminar programme and how to apply Featured, Sponsored, or New highlight colours to individual seminar sessions.
π§© Changing Seminar Programme Colours
Use these steps to update the main colour settings for your seminar programme.
π§ Steps
Open the Back Office.
Go to Modules.
Select Seminars.
Open the relevant Seminar (programme).
Go to Seminar Options.
Select Layout Settings.
Select List Settings.
Scroll down to Choose the header colour type.
Select one of the following:
Custom, or
Dynamic
π¨ If βCustomβ is Selected
Enter your Header Background Colour using a hex code.
Set the Header Text Colour as required.
(Optional) Configure the highlight colours:
Custom Featured Highlight Colour
Custom Sponsored Highlight Colour
Custom New Highlight Colour
Select Save to store your changes.
π·οΈ Applying Featured, Sponsored, or New Colours to Individual Sessions
Use these steps if you want specific sessions to display using the Featured, Sponsored, or New highlight colours configured in the programme settings.
π§ Steps
Open the Back Office.
Go to Modules.
Select Seminars.
Open the individual seminar session you want to update.
Select Edit.
Scroll down to Tags and Default Taxonomies.
Locate the relevant options:
Is this session a featured one?
Is this session a sponsored one?
(If available) Is this session a new one?
Set the relevant option to Yes.
Select Save.
The session will now display using the corresponding highlight colour from your seminar programme settings.

π’ Hex codes only
All colours must be entered using hex colour codes (e.g.#005EB8).β¨ Highlight colours require session flags
Highlight colours only apply to sessions marked as Featured, Sponsored, or New.πΎ Save both areas
Changes will not appear unless both the programme colour settings and the session flags are saved.
