Within the Seminar module, each session includes a Session Type field. This is a mandatory field and comes with several pre-defined options, such as Session, Break, and Lunch.
🎯 Purpose of the Session Type Field
The Session Type field allows you to:
Filter your programme or agenda by session type
Apply different visual styling to sessions on the front end
🎨 Session Type Styling
Session Types can be displayed differently to help users quickly distinguish between session formats.
For example, sessions marked as Break are styled using a light, muted grey and are non-clickable. This ensures they stand out from standard sessions, which typically include more detailed information such as descriptions, streams, locations, and associated speakers.
âž• Adding New Session Types
You can add additional Session Types by typing a new value directly into the Session Type field and saving the page. Once saved, the new option will be available for use across all sessions within that programme.
By default, any new Session Types will inherit the standard Session styling. If you require custom styling for a specific Session Type, please contact our support team for guidance on available options and next steps.
