To ensure the abstract content for your seminars appears on the main agenda page, follow the steps below.
⚙️ Enable Abstract Display
-
Navigate to:
Modules > Seminars > [Seminar Name] > Seminar Options > Layout Settings > List Settings -
Locate the field "Show the session description" and set it to Yes.
This will allow the abstract content to pull through onto the main agenda page.
📌 Abstract Content Rules
-
If the Abstract field is populated (optional), this content will be displayed on the main agenda page.
-
If the Abstract field is empty, the system will automatically display the first 200 characters of the Description field instead.
This ensures that your agenda page always shows a preview of the session content, even if the abstract hasn’t been manually added.
🔍 SEO and Readability Best Practices
-
Keep it concise: Aim for 150–250 characters for the abstract to ensure it’s fully visible without truncation.
-
Use keywords: Include relevant keywords for the session to help with search engine visibility.
-
Clear and engaging language: Make the abstract descriptive and appealing to encourage visitors to read more.
-
Avoid duplicate content: Ensure each session’s abstract is unique to improve both user experience and SEO performance.
This approach not only improves the user experience but also ensures your seminar sessions are more discoverable online.
