Sometimes, you may want to limit access to specific pages, documents, or resources—for example, giving certain content only to speakers, exhibitors, or VIP attendees. ASP provides the Secure Content module for this purpose.
Note: If this module is not already included in your contract, it can be purchased separately. Contact your account manager to enable it instantly.
🔒 Steps to Restrict Content
Step 1: Access the Module
In the left-hand column, hover over Modules.
Select Secure Content from the list of available modules.
Step 2: Add a Secure Login
Click Add Secure Login to start password-protecting a page or content area.
Step 3: Configure Secure Content Settings
Populate the following fields (*mandatory fields marked with an asterisk):
Field Reference Table
A compact reference of form fields and their descriptions. Fields marked with * are required.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Reference Title* |
Internal name for your reference.
Used only in the admin/interface to identify this protection rule or password entry.
|
| Display Title |
Optional title displayed above the password field on the front-end page.
If provided, this text will be visible to users visiting the locked content page.
|
| Password* |
The password users must enter to access the content.
Store securely (hashed) and ensure it meets any required complexity rules for your application.
|
| Text Above Login Form |
Optional text positioned between the Display Title and password field.
Useful for instructions, disclaimers, or short guidance for users before they enter the password.
|
| Submit Button Text* |
Text for the submit button (e.g., “Access”, “Submit”).
Customizes the call-to-action shown on the front-end. Keep it concise.
|
| Content to Secure |
Select the page, seminar, library, or other content to lock.
Expand grouped accordions to locate the content. This determines which content items will require the above password for access.
|
Step 4: Save
Click Save.
The selected content is now password protected. Users will need the password to access it.
This module is ideal for speaker-only pages, restricted downloads, or VIP content, providing an easy and secure way to manage access on your website.
