Is your URL displaying the wrong logo, dates, location, or nothing at all? This is controlled by the Open Graph image. Here’s how you can update it:
🔹 What is an Open Graph Image?
An Open Graph (OG) image is the image that appears when someone shares your website link on social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter.
It provides a visual preview of your page, making your links more engaging and clickable. Without it, platforms might pick a random image or none at all, which can make your shared content look unprofessional.
🔹 Why It’s Good for SEO
Improves click-through rates (CTR): Posts with images generally attract more clicks than text-only links.
Boosts brand recognition: Using a consistent logo or branded image reinforces your brand whenever your link is shared.
Enhances social sharing: Platforms display your page more attractively, which can lead to higher engagement and traffic.
Supports rich snippets: OG images are part of structured data that search engines use to understand your content better.
🔹 Step 1: Access Site Settings
Log in to the correct back office within the CMS.
Go to Settings > Site Settings & SEO.
🔹 Step 2: Update the Open Graph Image
In the General tab, find the image field named Global Open Graph Image.
Upload and select the correct image you wish to use.
Scroll to the bottom and Save.
💡 Tip: Use a clear, high-quality image that represents your brand or event. Recommended size: 1200 x 630px.
🔹 Step 3: Note About Social Media Caches
Each social platform caches content differently, so your updated image may not appear instantly.
To speed things up, you can manually clear the cache using each platform’s developer tools.

💡 Top Tips
Make sure your Open Graph image is visually clear, even at smaller sizes.
Use consistent branding across your OG images to improve recognition.
Preview your URL after updating to ensure the image appears correctly.
