There are times when you don’t want a panel to appear everywhere:
Targeted actions: A panel may contain buttons for specific users, e.g., a Register button for visitors vs. a Book a Stand button for exhibitors.
Custom content: You may want different sponsor logos or messaging on specific pages, such as awards pages.
🛠 How to Apply Page Restrictions
Go to the Panels menu on the left in the CMS.
Click the blue Panel Options button in the bottom-right of the panel you want to restrict.
Select the Restrictions tab.
Choose one of the three options at the top of the pop-up:
| Option | What it Does |
|---|---|
| This panel is not restricted | Default setting, appears on all pages. |
| This panel will ONLY appear on selected pages | Select the pages where the panel should appear. |
| This panel will NOT appear on selected pages | Select the pages where the panel should not appear. |
Tick the relevant pages for your chosen option.
Save your changes.
💡 Tips
Choose the option that requires fewer selections.
Example: If a panel should appear on all pages except one, use “This panel will NOT appear on selected pages.”
