How to Add Advertisements to Your Classic Composer Website

Adding advertisements to your website is a simple yet effective way to increase ROI or meet contractual obligations with third parties.

Step 1: Access the Advertising Panel

1. Log in to the correct back office in the CMS.

2. Go to Panels and locate the advertising panel(s).

   • Note: On the Motif and Tempo themes, you will have two separate ad panels to choose from.

Step 2: Add Advertisements

1. Within the panel, you can add a single ad banner (e.g., leaderboard, MPU) by uploading the image/file.

2. To add multiple ads, insert the iCatcher Image widget:

   • This allows multiple images to rotate automatically.

   • You can randomize the order to ensure each advert receives equal exposure.

3. Restrict adverts to appear on specific pages if desired.

4. Click Save—your advertisement panel will now appear on your website.

Step 3: Adjust Background Color and Positioning

1. Go to Settings > Design & Appearance.

2. Select the Sections tab.

3. Scroll down to Advertisement One & Two (Motif & Tempo only) to set a background color:

   • Enter a HEX color code or use the color picker.

4. To re-order your panels, go to the Layout tab and drag & drop panels into the desired order.

5. Click Save to finalize your changes.
