Adjusting Overlay Colour and Opacity in Composer 2

In Composer 2, overlay settings can be adjusted on both panels and widgets. While the navigation path is slightly different depending on what you are editing, the available overlay options remain the same.

Panels

To adjust the overlay on a panel in Composer 2:

1. Select the panel

2. Open the Settings panel

3. Go to the General tab

4. Expand the Background section

5. Select Overlay

Widgets

To adjust the overlay on a widget in Composer 2:

1. Select the widget

2. Open the Settings panel

3. Go to the General tab

4. Expand the Background section

5. Select Overlay

Overlay Options

The Overlay section provides the following controls for both panels and widgets:

• Opacity – Controls how transparent or solid the overlay appears

• Colour – Sets the colour applied over the background

These settings allow you to refine the appearance of your background and ensure it aligns with your overall page design.
