📘 Overview
In some scenarios, you may need certain pages within your website to display a different navigation or menu structure. This can help highlight alternative content or support specific use cases, such as:
Co-located events
Sub-events, forums, or conferences within a main event
Multi-language sections of a website
Campaign or microsite-style content
How this is handled depends on the template framework your website is built on.

🧱 Classic Composer
For websites built on Classic Composer, it is not possible to use multiple menus within a single website or back office.
To achieve a different navigation structure, you would need to create a secondary website/back office to host that content.
🎨 Composer 2
For websites built on Composer 2, this is supported using the Multi Menu functionality.
Multi Menu allows you to:
Create multiple navigation structures
Apply different menus to specific pages
Use different content and styling per menu, depending on requirements
This provides flexibility for managing distinct sections of your site within a single website.
🛠️ Custom Websites
For custom-built websites, alternative menus are typically handled using page templates.
This approach allows:
A different menu structure to be built directly into a page template
Specific templates to be applied to selected pages within the CMS
Full control over layout and navigation for those pages
Any new templates would need to be scoped and built by the development team.
