Adding Social Sharing Functionality in the CMS

You can enable social sharing across key areas of your website, allowing visitors to easily share content on their preferred platforms. Supported sharing channels include:

• Facebook

• X (formerly Twitter)

• LinkedIn

Social sharing can be added to any module in the CMS, including:

• Exhibitors

• Speakers

• Sessions

• Libraries

This allows visitors to share specific URLs directly to their social platforms or via email, helping to increase visibility and attract more traffic to your content.

Once enabled, a social share icon will appear within your content. Examples include:

• Exhibitor Entry: A Hole Lotta Love

• News Articles: Grid View

Selecting the icon opens sharing options for WhatsApp, Email, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.

🛠️ How to Enable Social Sharing

Follow these steps to add social sharing to any module:

1. Access the CMS and select the module you want to enable social sharing for.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select [INSERT MODULE NAME] Options.

3. Click the Advanced tab.

4. In the Sharing Options section, toggle on the social platforms you want users to share the URL to (WhatsApp, Email, Facebook, X, and/or LinkedIn).

5. Save your page in the CMS.

Once saved, the social share icon will automatically appear on all entries within that module.
