Your sites just got smarter for search engines. Exhibitor, session, speaker, and news pages have new schema options to boost discoverability. Easier SEO, cleaner URLs—see what’s new!
Big SEO Changes
- ProfilePage Schema on Exhibitor Pages Each exhibitor profile page now features its own ProfilePage schema, so Google knows who’s who.
- NewsArticle Schema Now Available in News Libraries News libraries now offer a toggle to inject NewsArticle structured data for entries, auto-enabled on new ones.
- Breadcrumb Navigation Now Sports Structured Data Breadcrumb schema silently appears in <head> whenever breadcrumbs are visible, pleasing search bots everywhere.
- EducationEvent Schema for Sessions Each session page now quietly emits EducationEvent schema, helping search engines see what’s on.
- Person Schema on Speaker Profiles Speaker pages now serve up Person schema, giving your speakers a shot at search result stardom.
- Warnings for Entry Link Settings When choosing how exhibitors, sessions, or library entries are displayed, selecting “Modal” or “None” now triggers a friendly nudge about possible SEO invisibility for your items.
Composer 2 Specific Improvements
- Homepage H1 Tag Cleanup Share, Search, and Wishlist options on homepages are no longer using H1 tags.
- Subpage Hero Now Smoother When using fixed navigation we’ve added a setting so that Subpage hero sections now glide in smoothly without jittery jumps.
- Multiple Countdown Timers You can now add multiple countdown timers to one page—each keeps its own settings.
- Countdown Widget Mobile Improvement The countdown widget now tucks itself neatly onto mobile screens instead of spilling off screen.
Smaller Things and Bug-Fixes
- Removed 'HTML Head Code' from Entry Options If empty, the 'HTML Head Code' field has been hidden from page, exhibitor, and library entry options—poof. Use the dedicated Third-Party Code area instead.
- Global HTML Tab Quietly Bows Out (Unless You're Still Using It) Similar to the above, the Global HTML tab now only appears if you’ve stashed code inside it; otherwise, it never existed.
- Added Campaign Tracker Merge Fields Campaign trackers now accept extTreatId, elqContactId, elqCampId, gclid, and disk—forward march on your URLs.
- ShowOff Users List – Now Filterable by Status You can filter users by Active, Locked, Inactive, or All, plus spot their status flags instantly.
- Exhibitor API: Now With Password Update Powers Send forceContactPassword=true with your /exhibitors API requests to update contacts’ passwords—dangerously efficient!
- Page-Type Menus Must Have a Page Selected You can no longer save a menu with type 'page' unless you’ve actually picked a page.
- Exhibitor Column and Filter Fixed in Speaker Reports The exhibitor column now actually displays exhibitors, and the filter also does something, imagine that!
- Password Sent Column Now Behaves The 'Password Sent' column finally updates reliably when sending exhibitor ezone credentirals, when using Bulk Password Manager and editing the contact directly.
