The Comparison Widget allows you to present multiple sales options side-by-side in a structured, easy-to-read table. This is ideal for helping event visitors quickly understand the differences between available ticket types — such as Early Bird, Weekend Pass, and Single Day tickets.
Each column represents a different product while each row lists a feature or benefit (for example, VIP Access, Backstage Pass, Entry on All Three Days). Customers can easily compare inclusions at a glance.
➕ Adding the Widget
In ShowOff, navigate to the page where you’d like to display your comparison table. Select Add Widget → Comparison.
📝 Defining the Widget Content
The Ticket header and feature content tab is where you can add the information about the products you're selling. This is split into two main areas:
- The Headings tab is where you'll define each product (or ticket), up to a maximum of four. These are the columns of the table.
- The Feature Rows tab is where the features for each product can be defined, up to a maximum of twenty. These are the rows of the table.
🎨 Styling the Widget
The Desktop and Mobile tabs are where your widget comes to life, allowing you to define colours, fonts, and more. We have separated the styling for both desktop and mobile to give you the flexibility to fine-tune the experience on different customer devices.
Within these tabs, there are three different sub-sections types:
- Feature rows is where you'll set the styling for the rows in your table
- Pill flag determines how the pill next to the product titles looks
- Ticket 1 - 4 allows you to determine the styling for each of the product headers
📱Mobile Experience
Whilst the Comparison Widget is displayed as a table with four columns on desktop, for better usability the table is stacked, one product on top of the next.
💡 Best Practices
Keep your comparison simple — whilst we support up to 20, aim for 6–8 features for better readability. Use concise feature names that visitors can quickly scan. Ensure pricing and descriptions are consistent across columns. Review the layout on both desktop and mobile to confirm alignment and spacing.
📌 Notes
The Comparison Widget is a Premium Widget, not included in the base Composer 2 package. Contact your Account Manager if you’re interested in adding this to your website. You can use the widget multiple times across your site — for instance, on both Tickets and Pricing pages. If your widget does not display as expected, ensure your Composer theme and widgets are up to date.
