Introduction
To enable ASP to optimise your website’s tracking and analytics, you’ll need to invite their team to your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property with Admin access.
This allows ASP to configure tracking settings, set up conversions, and integrate GA4 with other tools effectively. Once their work is complete, we recommend reducing their access to Viewer or Editor to maintain control over your account.
This guide will take you through the process step by step.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Log into Google Analytics
Go to Google Analytics.
Sign in with the Google account associated with your GA4 property.
2. Select Your GA4 Property
If you have multiple accounts, select the correct account and property for the website you need ASP to access.
3. Open the Admin Panel
- In the left-hand menu, click on Admin (gear icon at the bottom-left corner of the screen).
- Ensure you are in the correct Account and Property.
4. Access Account or Property Settings
- Under the Account or Property column, select Account Settings or Property Settings, depending on the level of access ASP requires.
- Click on Account Access Management or Property Access Management.
5. Add a New User
- Click the + button in the top-right corner.
- Select Add users.
-
Enter the following email address in the Email field:
- Under Roles and Data Restrictions, select Editor to allow ASP to manage settings, create events, and make necessary updates.
-
If ASP is providing for you a GA4 Dashboard, please also invite dashboards.asp@gmail.com.

6. Confirm the Invitation
- Click Add to send the invitation.
- ASP will receive an email invitation to access your Google Analytics 4 property. Once they accept it, they will be able to assist with setup and optimisation.

After ASP Has Completed Their Work
Once ASP has completed their setup and confirmed their work is done, we recommend adjusting their access level to Viewer or Editor for security and control. You can do this by returning to Account Access Management, selecting their user profile, and changing the permission level.
