How to Start a Weglot Account

Weglot makes it easy to translate your website and create a multilingual experience.

Follow these steps to set up your Weglot account:

Step 1: Choose Your Weglot Package

1. Visit the Weglot Pricing page.
2. Review the packages based on:
   • The number of preferred languages you want to translate your website into.
   • The number of words your website contains.
3. Select the package that best suits your needs. If you’re unsure, start with the free trial to explore the platform.

Step 2: Sign Up for Weglot

1. Go to the Weglot Registration page.
2. Fill in the registration form:
   • Email Address: Enter your email address.
   • Password: Create a secure password.
   • News and Features Updates: Tick the box if you'd like to receive updates and announcements from Weglot.
3. Click Sign Up to create your account.

Step 3: Confirm Your Email

1. Check your email inbox for a confirmation message from Weglot.
2. Open the email and click the confirmation link to verify your account.

Step 4: Set Up Your First Weglot Project

1. Log in to your Weglot account.
2. Click “Create Your Project” to start making your website multilingual.

Step 5: Invite ASP as a Collaborator

1. In your Weglot dashboard, invite a collaborator to help manage your project:
   • Role: Manager.
   • Email Address: weglot@asp.events.
2. Click Send Invite.

Step 6: Leave the Rest to Us

Once you've invited us as a collaborator, ASP will take care of the remaining setup and configuration for your website.

Step 7: Invite ASP to Google Search Console

To ensure Google indexes your new multilingual pages correctly, you’ll need to either:

• Invite ASP to your existing Google Search Console account: See How to Invite ASP to Google Search Console for step-by-step instructions.
• Set up Google Search Console: If you don’t already have it set up, refer to Google Search Console - How To Set Up

Once complete, ASP will handle the necessary configuration to optimise your multilingual website for search engines.
