ShowOff Update - January 2024
We've been busy this over the last month or so adding some nice new features and squashing pesky bugs, please see below for a full breakdown of what we've been up to at ASP:
New Features and Improvements
- Added the ability whilst importing exhibitors via CSV, feeds, or API to specify which exhibitor email address should be notified when rapport messages are received.
- Added an option to collapse exhibitor parent categories when filtering so that the category lists can appear more concisely.
- Added two new options to exhibitor groups to allow the automatic selection of child categories based on the parent and vice versa.
- We've added the option to clear your site's cache when saving translations, so that they're instantly visible to website visitors. This comes with a warning though, as clearing caches can have a small performance impact. With great power comes great responsibility.
- Added a translatable sub-header to the Rapport e-zone page, so you can explain what the page does in your own words.
- You can now scroll horizontally through your seminar calendar using your keyboard's left and right arrow keys.
Bug-Fixes
- If making changes to Translations or SEO Redirects, you can now make changes across multiple pages and save them all at once instead of one page at a time.
- 24h clock entries in seminar programmes are now ordered correctly when sorting sessions by time.
We've tweaked the way we cache panels, so now if you set a panel to be "Inactive" that change will be instantly visible on your website. - Media manager will now warn you if you're moving or uploading a file into a folder which contains another file with the same name. Previously it would overwrite the existing file without warning.
- Resolved a bug which sometimes caused the deletion of exhibitor records to fail.
- If you navigate directly to a login protected E-Zone page without previously logging in, you'll now be redirected to the intended page after login.
- Fixed an issue causing the same speakers to be included multiple times in reports.
We've fixed an issue whereby the site switcher wasn't always behaving correctly for exhibitors that have E-Zone access across multiple sites. - We've increased the character limit for campaign tracker target URLs from 250 to 1000, plenty of space for those pesky long URLs now!
- We've fixed an issue with the "Selection" search method for seminar programmes. It wasn't quite working correctly when filtering by stream or date.
